Tiki Time Makes a Move

Downtown Evansville has really grown over the last few years. It's been really cool to see new places pop up, new restaurants to try, and plenty of places to grab a drink. Just off the beaten path on the Ohio riverfront downtown is Marina Point and Tiki time.  Both bars have such a great venue space, with amazing views overlooking the Ohio River and downtown Evansville. Tiki Time, however, recently announced they'll be making quite the move! No worries though, they're staying downtown.

Tiki Time Moves Away From the River

On the Main Street Walkway in Downtown Evansville just catty-cornered from Ford Center is a bar formerly known as Backstage Bar and Grill.  It was announced a few months ago that Backstage Bar and Grill had been bought and would be renamed, Tiki Time.

On May 20th, 2022, Tiki Time took to Facebook to announce that they would be officially making the move to the Main Street Walkway and closing the riverfront location.

Here's what their post on Facebook said:

Tiki Time at Marina Pointe is closed for good/relocated to Tiki On Main at 524 Main St, Evansville In 47708. Come see us at our new location. Same staff, owners, just better menu, bigger bands, and a lot of fun.

If you've ever been to this location when it was Backstage Bar and Grill, you know this bar has such a great live music setup.  They've got the perfect size stage, and can really pack a decent-sized crowd in.  I'm excited to see what Tiki Time does with the place, and what acts they bring in!
