Six Flags St. Louis

I remember being a kid, we'd often go over to Six Flags St. Louis to ride some of the scariest roller coasters and meet different characters from some of my favorite tv shows.  I remember when I was 12 going to Six Flags St. Louis during Fright Fest, and my mom had no idea what she was getting us into, and to be honest, I think that's partially where my Halloween obsession started.

Six Flags Fright Fest

Six Flags Fright Fest takes place every October at Six Flags St. Louis, and they go BIG with the thrills and the chills! Fright Fest is where you can experience Six Flags after dark.  Throughout the amusement park, they will have haunted houses, scare zones, scare actors, and rides in the dark. They will also have horror-themed entertainment shows going on as well!

I remember going to Fright Fest as a kid, and it was kind of funny because my mom didn't realize it was Fright Fest when we went and boy was that a surprise! Per the Six Flags website, Fright Fest is recommended for those 13 and older.

When does Fright Fest take place?

Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis kicks off this weekend on September 23rd and runs every weekend through October 30th.   If a night of terror is not really your speed, and you're looking for more family-friendly haunted options, they have a Kids Boo Fest during the days before Fright Fest.  You can check out the schedule of events and ticket info here.
