With 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' underperforming at the box office, Sony may not be able to keep with their current timeline for sequels, and word is that 'The Amazing Spider-Man 3' is being pushed off of its June 10, 2016 release date and in to 2017.
There's many various marketing material already out there for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' -- posters, trailers, TV spots, you name it! With a film that contains so many moving parts (mainly villains), it's tempting to utilize all of them. I don't know if I would say it's "this summer's most anticipated film", but it's definitely on my must-see list. I think The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers are/were the most anticipated films of the summer. Nonetheless, The Amazing Spider-Man does look pretty...amazing.
