A remake of Road House is a little questionable, but when you throw UFC badass Ronda Rousey into the role originated by Patrick Swayze, things get a bit interesting. And things just got a whole lot more interesting as the project has found an unlikely director in Nick Cassavetes, son of iconic director John Cassavetes and director of…The Notebook. Of all things.

This past weekend Ronda Rousey continued to dominate the world of UFC fighting defeating challenger Bethe Correia with a devastating knockout in just 34 seconds. She may very well be the most dominate athlete in her sport. Hell, she might be the most dominate athlete in any sport. While she’s officially conquered the world of mixed martial arts, Rousey wants to next conquer Hollywood. After supporting roles in Furious 7 and Entourage, Rousey has signed on to star in a biopic about her own life for Paramount Pictures.

It was media day in Rio de Janeiro, as Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia went face to face prior to their showdown in the main event of UFC 190 Saturday night on Pay-Per-View.

I guess the device formerly known as the "Phantom" cam is now referred to as the X-Cam. Okay. Whatever it's called, it still provides some of the coolest images from any given UFC event.

'Fast and Furious 7' hasn't made a lot of noise lately, even though it starts shooting this fall and is scheduled to hit theaters next July. We don't even know if Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be done filming 'Hercules' in time to appear in the film. But we have just gotten the first big new casting news, as UFC star Ronda Rousey is in negotiations to join the cast.
