True to form, FOX’s Empire has been living large on the road to its September Season 2 premiere, dropping trailer after trailer, and the occasional 20-minute preview. What better way to keep the Empire in power, than to add four more new trailers, as well as our first HD photos of the Season 2 opener?

They’ll never stop The Simpsons, so have no fear, they’ve got stories for years, but did you know America’s favorite animated family was thought up in the lobby before a pitch meeting? Or that Matt Groening based most of the characters on his own family? These are just some of the Springfield kwyjibos populating the tenth episode of ‘You Think You Know TV?,’ which pays a visit to The Simpsons’ home state of … uh, somewhere!

The Simpsons has gone on long enough that fans will inevitably face cast departure or a potential end to the series, but despite the recent renewal for Seasons 27 and 28, that end may already be in sight. Iconic Simpsons mainstay Harry Shearer appears to have revealed his exit from the long-running FOX animated series, and not even Ned Flanders could find the optimism here.

The success of FOX’s 24: Live Another Day event series got the ball rolling on a number of other ideas, from The X-Files to Enourmous, but their latest short-burn effort is even more expendable. Sylvester Stallone is reportedly developing a limited series TV rendition of The Expendables, uniting some of TV’s biggest stars for a new action-drama.

The ‘X-Men’ franchise is headed for an ‘Apocalypse’ in the near future, making headlines left and right with its latest castings, but a small-screen outing of Marvel’s mightiest mutants might evolve into place as early as 2016. FOX has confirmed development on a potential ‘X-Men’ TV series, though Disney may well block the efforts.

FOX Batman prequel 'Gotham' has introduced us to pint-size incarnations of DC lore from the likes of a plant-tending Poison Ivy to a young upstart Harvey Dent, so what's one more for the pile? Prepare to meet the li'l-est Scarecrow, as FOX's 'Gotham' readies to introduce a pre-Batman version of the fear-intoxicating villain!

Like it or not, 'Family Guy''s Griffins will make their way to Springfield this coming Sunday for landmark crossover premiere "The Simpsons Guy," and no animated universe is safe. Peter will trade chicken-style fisticuffs with Homer, Bart and Stewie will swap pranks, and morbidly disturbing car-washes will be held. One of the most anticipated new shows of the fall is finally here. GOTHAM makes its debut tonight at 7pm on FOX44! I was lucky enough to see an advance copy of tonight's episode (thank again Eric) and it does not disappoint.

Thanks to my buddy Eric at FOX44, I get the chance to see a number of shows each year before they actually air. For a TV junkie like me, that's one of the coolest 'perks' of my job. Today I got to see the first episode of the new FOX drama Red Band Society.

We weren't altogether surprised to learn that TV powers would look to develop Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise's 'Minority Report' as an ongoing series, considering the pantheon of movie-TV reboots, but consider our interest piqued. Not only will the new series unfold on FOX, but as a sequel series to the original film with a female lead!

Heading into its record-setting 26th season, 'The Simpsons' show no signs of stopping as 2014 brings with it a bevy of new milestones. For one, that major character death has officially been confirmed for our fall premiere, while 'The Simpsons' bosses have gone on record about the 'Futurama' and 'Family Guy' crossovers, and FX's massive 'Simpsons World' app prepares for launch!

Most of the major networks have already put forward their fall 2014 schedules, but fourth place is hardly bad press for FOX, given all their promising new series on deck. The full fall premiere list has arrived, plotting 'Gotham''s batty debut ahead of the much-hyped 'Family Guy'-'Simpsons' crossover, while 'Glee''s final farewell and more have been pushed to midseason.
