Our country is experiencing shortages in all aspects of our lives, and the American Red Cross is not immune. They are in desperate need of more blood.

As we approach the busy holiday season, it's time for the American Red Cross to stock up on all types of blood.

With the sever winter weather that has impacted a large portion of the country, comes a an increase in need for blood donations. According to the American Red Cross, there were more than 200 blood drives that had to be cancelled because of inclement winter weather.

The American Red Cross is asking the Tristate to help this holiday season by giving the gift of life at their Give Thanks Give Life Blood Drive November 20th.
