Ricardo Jones was angry that the price of a Taco Bell Beefy Crunch Burrito had gone from 99 cents to a $1.49. How angry? Well, it took tear gas and a SWAT team to finally calm him down.

In Jones's defense, he had ordered seven Beefy Crunch Burritos from a Taco Bell drive-through window in San Antonio, Texas. So when he shot a BB gun at the Taco Bell's manager, and then brandished a semi-automatic rifle, it was during a dispute over $3.50 (plus tax!) not just 50 cents.

After the police were called, Jones fled the scene in his car, and exchanged fire with the officers who tried to pull him over. The 37-year old then made his way to a local motel, where his three hour stand-off with a SWAT team ended after tear gas was rolled into the room, causing Jones to surrender without incident.

Nobody was injured during Jones's burrito-inspired rampage, and he is being charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault.

Sounds like someone had a little 4th meal madness. Don't get me wrong, I love Taco Bell as much as the next mexican fast food lover but come on, the SWAT team? Brandishing a weapon? Seriously, take the little survey that is on the back of your receipt and voice your complaints.
