Something To Get Hyped Up About!

Yesterday was such an awesome, beautiful day.  I started mine off with a nice run around the grounds of the state hospital.  While coming up Vann towards the Lloyd, I noticed the object in the accompanying photo lying on the jogging trail.  I was a little shocked to see a hypodermic needle discarded on the side of the road.  Disgusting!   I was concerned that some kid might pick it up, play with it and stick themselves or someone else.  Being the good, community minded person I am I called the EPD who came and properly disposed of the nastiness.   They encourage you to do the same should you ever find any drugs, or drug paraphernalia discarded in a public area.   Central dispatch is 426-7331, or just call 911.
