Indiana Animal Rescue Hosting ‘Santa Paws Day Camp’ for Ages 5-12
One Indiana animal rescue is hosting a "Santa Paws Day Camp" for children ages 5 to 12 years old where they can make friends, learn about animals, and interact with shelter dogs and cats.
Santa Paws Day Camp for Kids 5 - 12
Children between the ages of 5 and 12 are invited to join Warrick Humane Society for the 2024 Santa Paws Day Camp taking place December 22nd and 23rd.
Three Different Sessions to Choose From
With three sessions to choose from, the event would make a great gift experience for the kids in your life.
Affordable Holiday Themed Fun
The cost of the event is only $35 and includes a tee shirt with registration. The three sessions will take place:
- December 22nd 8:30 am - 12 pm
- December 22nd 12:30 pm = 4 pm
- December 23rd 8:30 am - 12 pm
The sessions will provide fun learning opportunities, and campers will have the opportunity to make friends with fellow animal lovers.
Safely Interact and Play with Dogs and Cats
Campers will have the opportunity to safely interact and play with the dogs and cats in the the care of Warrick Humane Society.
Our goal for this camp is to allow our campers to have a lot of time safely interacting and playing with dogs and cats in our care, while we help them learn about care, handling, and body language of a pet. We encourage learning that is fun, interactive, and safe!
Fun Games & Crafts Too
In addition to the learning opportunities, the participating children in the Santa Paws Day Camp can also take part in fun games and craft activities. To register for one of the three Santa Paws Day Camp sessions, you can email volunteerwarrick@gmail.com.
More About Warrick Humane Society
Located in Newburgh, Indiana, Warrick Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in the community for 40 years. What started in 1983 with just a few good-hearted people who opened their homes, has grown over the years to provide a no-kill shelter in Warrick County. They opened their doors on their facility in 1997.
Since WHS opened their building in 1997 and began actively working with Animal Control agencies and other rescue organizations, WHS has saved thousands of animals and placed them in loving homes... WHS does not receive any funding from taxes or any national organizations. WHS is funded entirely by individual and corporate donations, bequests, grants and fundraising events. Because all animals adopted by WHS are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and microchipped as well as receiving any other special care they may need, finding enough funding is always a challenge.
Warrick Humane Society is located at 5722 Vann Road in Newburgh, Indiana.
