When you help out ACA, you help out dogs like Storm pictured above! Scroll down to read more about Storm, but first let's talk about the rummage sale!

The rummage sale to support Another Chance for Animals is happening on Saturday September 7th from 8A-2P at VFW 1114 located at 110 N. Wabash in Evansville.  This is a rain or shine event since the sale is being held indoors. All money raised from the sale will go directly to ACA to help with medical costs, and emergency needs for ACA foster animals.  Be sure to stop by and see what all they have, and who knows you may just find some treasure you've been looking for!  And if you have items around your home that you want to donate, you can donate to the yard sale too! Drop those donations off at the VFW on Friday 9/6 after 6PM.

Another Chance for Animals is a foster based rescue in Evansville. They pull directly from Evansville Animal Control.  They've got a special place in my heart as my dog Wrigley was rescued through ACA, and currently I'm fostering a dog through them! They do really great work for homeless animals in our community, so I hope you'll stop by and help them out!

*Pictured above is Storm, she's available for adoption through ACA, here's what they have to say about her:

Hi my name is Storm. I’m a one and a half year old tiny pitbull. I weigh a whopping 35 pounds. I like to think of myself as a perky, petite, blonde bombshell. I recently birthed and raised 3 beautiful babies and like a lot of you out there, they’ve finally left the nest. My baby making days are over and I’m a free woman in search of her forever home. My ideal home would have a playmate that likes to play rough. I love to wrestle and tackle and play with toys. My favorite thing is fetch. And it doesn’t have to be a ball. I’ll chase and retrieve anything to make you happy. My foster mom describes me as a love bug. I love to snuggle and by snuggle she means sit in your lap or lay on you in bed. I know basic commands and I’m potty trained. I would do best in a house without cats as I think they’re pretty fun to chase. I don’t know what I’d do if I ever caught one cause no one will let me get that far. It’s for the best they say. I have a lot of energy so I’ll need an active house or a fenced in backyard to run in. I could use some help with my manners as I get really excited and tend to forget them. I’m still a puppy so they say I’m still figuring out life. Isn’t everyone? If you think I’d be a good match for your home send us a message!
