Most people remember Roger Moore for being James Bond. But I remember him a bit differently...

Many people remember Roger Moore as James Bond. Some hardcore Sean Connery fans might just know him as "The Bond that replaced Connery's Bond". But when I was growing up my Bond's were Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. So, who was Roger Moore to me, growing up?

...You remember a little movie called "Spice World"?

Yeah. THAT Spice World.

Roger Moore, former James Bond, played Chief in that movie. THAT was my first introduction to Roger Moore.

Of course, as I got older, I watched the past Bond films that came before my time and got to see him as Bond. But my first memory of Roger Moore is this:

The other movie I remember him for? A Princess for Christmas. Never heard of it? That's because it's one of those made for tv Hallmark Christmas movies. It is so bad...and yet I watch it every year. I don't know why. (That's a lie, it's because of Katie McGrath. You might recognize her as Lena Luthor from Supergirl.)

I mean, it's not the worst Hallmark movie...but still...

Those two movies, a 90s gimmick to exploit a British girl group and a made for tv Christmas movie, are what I know Roger Moore from. While some people's brains go "Oh! Roger Moore! James Bond!" My brain goes "Oh! Roger Moore! The evil dude with the rabbit from Spice World!" and no matter how hard I try and no matter how much I want that first phrase to come out of my mouth...it's always the second.

I am a disgrace to Bond fans everywhere.

And this is what Roger Moore should truly be remembered for:
