Shawn Marshall Myers, 42, was arrested back in March for hosting multiple parties with over 50 people attending and not following any of the social-distancing guidelines.

NBC 5 reports that Myers was arrested back in March after police discovered him hosting a party with over fifty attendees (at the time, gatherings in Maryland were limited to ten people or less.)

Myers was convicted of two counts of failure to comply to an executive order late last week. In addition to spending a year in jail, he will also have to pay $5,000 in fines and will be on probation for three years following his release.
