This sweet girl is Phoenix and she needs help.

Phoenix needs a home (photo by Linda Barnes Drake)

If you've ever considered fostering or adopting now is the time. Evansville Animal Control is once again filling up. They have several dogs past stray hold who need out. My friend Linda is a huge advocate for animals, and spends much of her time at Animal Control trying to get the word out about dogs there and get them into rescues or adopted.  This one girl stood out to Linda.

Meet Phoenix (pictured above). She is young, only 6 months old, still a puppy. She is an owner surrender, which means she needs out of Animal Control asap.

Here's what Linda said about her:

I need your help on this sweetheart! She’s a 6 month owner surrender who loves both cats and dogs. Shelter is almost full and she’s been there a long time. She does have puppy energy but for $5 a day she can go to Speciality Pet Grooming Doggie Daycare and run off her energy! Great little girl.

If you're interested in learning about Phoenix you can stop by Evansville Animal Control at 815 Uhlhorn St in Evansville,  and meet her.  If you're interested in fostering her, reach out to Another Chance for Animals.  They will help you, and can provide you with any info you need, and help you with the process.

Let's get this sweet girl a home.
