Henderson County Waste has been accepting old tires for recycling and Saturday, June 2nd is your last day to make a drop off. If you happen to have some old tires laying around that you need to get rid of, now is the chance. The following types of tires are being accepted either on or off the rim:

  • Truck
  • Light truck
  • Passenger
  • Implement
  • Lawn tractor
  • Bicycle
  • Motorcycle
  • Golf cart

You can drop off your tires at Henderson County Recycling located at 398 Sam Ball Way between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:30 am. If your tires are filled with foam or calcium, are off road contruction tires, solid or have a bead lager than 1 3/4 inches, they will not be accepted.
