Downtown Evansville, Indiana is about to get even more delicious! No doubt there are lots of yummy places to grab a bite in the city's downtown area but there is always room for more and according to Evansville 411 News, there are not one but two new restaurants planned for the city's center.

Located on Fourth Street, you'll find the building that once housed a Tapa bar. According to Evansville 411 News, that building was recently up for sale for $375,000. The new restaurant, Samuel's Burgers & Beers will occupy the building at 113 SE 4th Street with a tentative opening date of summer 2022. Evansville 411 News cites a recent Site Review Committee meeting agenda as their source.

Samuel's Burgers & Beers is planning to open up in the former Eclipse Tapas & More building, which has recently been for sale by Woodward Commercial Realty, Inc. for $375,000.

Samuel's Burgers and Beers isn't the only downtown restaurant announcement from Evansville 411 News. A short while later, they shared that Nicholson's Old Fashioned is expected to soon occupy the building that most recently housed  Enjolé Interiors, located at 313 Main Street. Again, Evansville 411 News cited the Site Review Committee meeting agenda as their source.
Nicholson's Old Fashioned is planning to open up in the former Enjolé Interiors location on Main Street, which will entail a restaurant, retail and rental space.

The space will hold a restaurant as well as both rental and retail space. At this time there is no anticipated opening date. Regardless, we are very excited about the idea of new restaurants in our downtown.
