
Pasta Meals Sold in IN, IL & KY Recalled After ‘Wood-Like’ Material Found Inside
More than 50,000 cases of pasta meals have been recalled due to foreign matter contamination.
"Wood-Like" Material Found in Pasta Meals Made by Nestlé USA
Nestlé USA has issued a voluntary recall after a "wood-like material" was found in one of its pasta meals. The recall was issued across 37 states including Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
A "Choking Incident" Was Reported By a Consumer
According to a report from Newsweek, the recall was issued after a "choking incident" involving a consumer. They say that Nestlé has stressed that this was an isolated issue, and that the company is working closely with the Food and Drug Administration, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Over 50K CASes Pulled from Distribution
A total of over 50,000 cases of the recalled pasta products have been pulled from distribution. The products were manufactured in plastic trays with plastic film, and packaged in paperboard cartons. The affected products include:
- Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli with best by dates between October 2025 - March 2026. UPC: 013800144065 and batch codes 4261595912 through 5038595912
- Select Bataches of Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli
- Select Bataches of Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry
- Select Bataches of Stouffer's Party Size Chicken Lasagna
What Consumers Should Know If They Have The Recalled Products
You should not consume these products. If you have any of the recalled products, you are advised to return them to the point of purchase for a refund or replacement.
