National Weather Service Warns of Severe Storms and Possible Tornadoes on Veteran’s Day
November seems to be one of the most tumultuous times in the Midwest weather - simply because of the fluctuating temperatures. Tomorrow, Veteran's Day, there is a risk of severe weather.
In the event of severe weather, keep it tuned to our station for wall-to-wall coverage and be sure to download the RadioPup app in case the power goes out.
WEDNESDAY IS VETERANS DAY AND IT IS SETTING UP TO BE A VERY WINDY
DAY. WE WILL SEE SOUTH WINDS RAMPING UP CLOSE TO 20 MPH DURING
THE DAYTIME...AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM. GUSTS MAY
WELL RUN THROUGH THE 30S MPH AT TIMES. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BE SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND POSSIBLY EVEN ISOLATED TORNADOES.
