Muhlenberg County Need Your Help Finding Escaped Inmate [PHOTO]

Muhlenberg County, Kentucky authorities and the Kentucky State Police need your help locating an inmate who escaped while on work release Monday night.

According to Eyewitness News, 44-year-old Thomas Vaught of Central City was working at the Muhlenberg County Agricultural Center when he went missing around 9:00 p.m. It is believe he stole a Dodge Ram truck to make his getaway.

The truck is described as having a tool box and diesel tank in the back and a University of Kentucky license plate on the front.

Vaught is considered a non-violent offender who is currently in jail on Failure to Appear charges according to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center website.
