That first official look at Thor: Ragnarok may have been a bit of a shock to the system — Chris Hemsworth’s haircut should come with a warning label. But now that we’ve all gotten acclimated to this radical (and rad because that magazine cover was so very ’90s) change, how about even more new photos from the Thor sequel? Loki returns, Jeff Goldblum gets spacey, and Cate Blanchett goes full mystical-goth in these additional sneak peeks from Taika Waititi’s highly-anticipated sequel.

Following the reveal of Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Cate Blanchett on the cover of their upcoming issue, EW has debuted even more photos from Thor: Ragnarok. The pics feature a battle-ready Thor (complete with warpaint), Blanchett’s villainous goddess of death, and Thompson’s warrior Valkyrie. They also offer our first looks at Tom Hiddleston’s return as Loki (with drink in hand) and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, as well as (and most importantly) Jeff Goldblum as the eccentric Grandmaster:

As you can see, although it does retain signature elements (chiefly cast and costume) from the previous Thor films, this one has received a bit of an attitude adjustment (or upgrade) courtesy of Taika Waititi, the director of What We Do in the Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Ragnarok looks more colorful, more fun and, as Waititi and Hemsworth have promised, way more humorous.

Just look at that pic of Bruce Banner and Thor! Ruffalo previously described Ragnarok as a road movie in the vein of Midnight Run, and that photo definitely looks like a buddy road trip in the making. And Jeff Goldblum may have reached Peak Goldblum — which is 100 percent not a problem from where I’m sitting.

Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3.
