Metallica closed out their normal touring schedule for 2022 with a crushing stadium performance at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. That show, like every other ‘Tallica gig this year, is now available for fans to stream and download via LiveMetallica.com or nugs.net.

While there was a little bit of rain near the start of the show, nothing could hold back the ferocity of Metallica storming Pittsburgh for the first time since playing PPG Paints Arena on Oct. 18, 2018, on the WorldWired tour.

The PNC Park performance marked their 10th time playing the Steel City, and it was a night to remember for Metallica fans. The setlist was a familiar one, but for fans in Pittsburgh, it was full of firsts, including the first time the band ever played "Ride the Lightning," "Dirty Window" and "Whiskey in the Jar" in town.

They also played a fiery rendition of "Moth Into Flame," and you can check out pro-shot footage of that performance in the video below.

Watch Metallica Perform "Moth Into Flame" Live in Pittsburgh

Metallica made their debut in Pittsburgh on June 15, 1988, at the Three Rivers Stadium as part of Van Halen's Monsters of Rock. In addition to the show's namesake, Metallica performed alongside Scorpions, Dokken and Kingdom Come.

While the PNC Park show marked the end of Metallica's normal touring schedule for the year, they currently have one more show left on the calendar: A headlining gig at the Global Citizen fest in New York City's Central Park. Learn how to get your hands on tickets to Global Citizen here.

Some of Our Favorite Live Photos of Lars Ulrich

As iconic as James Hetfield is, as much of a shredder as Kirk Hammett is and as crazy as Robert Trujillo is onstage, there might be no member more associated with Metallica than Lars Ulrich.

Afterall, he's the reason the band even exists. He's a major part of the songwriting process. He's the voice that stood up for Metallica and musicians across the globe in the wake of Napster.

After hours and hours of rifling through photos of Ulrich, we whittled this list down to just a few of our favorite live shots from the last 20 years. Of course, there's no way to encapsulate Ulrich in a mere photograph, but as you will no doubt be able to tell, you can get pretty close.
