Melissa Tries to Be Fashionable for a Good Cause!

This Sunday, is the Night of Stars and Style at Eastland Mall for SMILE on Down Syndrome, and I hope you'll join us! 

When I was asked to walk in a fashion show, I was like "me?  I'm the least stylish person ever!" haha! But when I heard that I'd get some help from Dillards and it was for SMILE how could I say no? Here's to hoping I don't trip haha!

I got to go and try on some clothes yesterday with my friend Liberty, and you can see how that went, in the video above!

Either way I hope you'll join us! It's free to attend, this Sunday in the cafe court at Eastland Mall. doors open at 6! There's going to be a runway portion of the show starting at 6:30, where local celebrities, notable business people, and business owners are paired with our self-advocates with Down syndrome, autism, and other cognitive disabilities to model the latest spring styles from our friends at Dillard’s department store. Admission is FREE, so bring your friends and family out to this exciting, fun, and entertaining annual event!
