Midwest Retailer to Open Its First Indiana Location with Smaller ‘Grocery Format’
Midwest retailer, Meijer will open its third grocery store location, and its first in Indiana.
Meijer Has 42 Locations & 10,000+ Employees in Indiana
Meijer boasts 42 supercenter stores and more than 10,000 team members across the state of Indiana. Its supercenters offer everything from apparel and home goods to baby care and automotive needs, and of course groceries too.
Meijer Bringing Grocery Experience Coming to Indiana
It's the latter that Meijer has turned into what it calls a new "format" for an upcoming store. In 2023, Meijer opened two grocery stores in Southeast Michigan. Now the retailer is bringing that grocery-only experience to Indiana.
What Can We Expect at the Meijer Grocery Store?
As far as what customers can expect from the new Meijer Grocery Store, in a press release, they say you will find:
- Produce and grocery
- Fresh meat cut daily
- Bakery equipped with in-store cake decorators
- Full-service deli
- Pharmacy
- Health and beauty
- Baby, pets and consumables
- Cards, party and floral
90,000 Square Foot Store to Open in Noblesville, Indiana
Meijer says it will open a 90,000 square foot grocery store on July 11, 2024, in Noblesville, Indiana. The new store will open its doors in the shopping complex known as the Promenade of Noblesville located at 5956 Promenade Shops Boulevard.

Additionally, shoppers can expect great savings, as well as mPerks, shop and scan, and the other conveniences found while shopping a Meijer supercenter.
