Mascot Gets Put on Injury Report During Football Game
Almost 100% of the time the injury report in any football game is made up of players. Well, today that statistic gets changed to 99.99999%.
An injury report in a football game is just that. It's a report on who got injured during the game, how serious the injury is, and if it looks like they might be coming back for the next game (or at all for the rest of the season).
And in the history of football, a majority of the time this list is only football players.
Until now.
The Colorado Buffalo's mascot Chip had to be carted off the field the other day during a game because he made the mistake of holding the t-shirt cannon the wrong way, and accidentally shooting himself in the groin.
OW.
I will say, in true mascot form, despite Chip's painful injury he never took off his mascot head.
Respect.
