I do not want to jump the gun on this subject but I am getting the feeling that we may be able to start doing some fun things again soon.  We only need to get through February and come March we just might be able to see new movies in theaters and take a road trip or two.  Again, not trying to jinx anything but seeing that there is a new superhero exhibit coming to the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago has my hopes up pretty high.

If you know me, you know that I am a huge Marvel fan.  Captain America is my favorite superhero of all time and I may be only slightly obsessed with the Universe in which he lives in.  So, you can imagine that when I saw what the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago has planned for March, I got a little excited.  When the museum reopens to the public they will be opening with “Marvel: Universe of Superheroes.”  Who is ready for a trip to Chicago?!

The new exhibit will not only celebrate the history of Marvel Comics but it will also include over 300 different artifacts.  These will include props, costumes, and original art pieces.  I think it is safe to assume that you will be able to see Cap’s shield in person as well as Thor’s Hammer and potentially an Iron Man suit.  Clearly, I am way too excited about this.

The new Marvel exhibit will be open from March until late October.  Which gives all of us nerds plenty of time to take a weekend trip up to the Windy City.  You can see more about the new Marvel exhibit and the reopening of the Chicago museum right here.
