This veteran-owned food truck has been a staple in the Evansville, Gibson County, and Newburgh communities, serving up some of the best smoked meats in the Tri-State. But now, the owners have announced they’ve sold their food trailer.

A Difficult Decision

In a heartfelt post on Facebook, Zia Smoke BBQ shared the news with their loyal fans, expressing their appreciation for the journey and the community that supported them.

"This decision wasn't easy, as the trailer has been a huge part of our lives and a source of so many wonderful memories. We're incredibly grateful for the journey, the delicious food we've served, and most importantly, the amazing people we've met along the way."

Their announcement was met with an outpouring of love and support from customers who will miss their incredible food and friendly service.

A Community Favorite

Whether it was their famous pulled pork nachos, juicy brisket, or perfectly smoked ribs, customers lined up to get a taste of their signature dishes. They were a staple at local events, making appearances at festivals, community gatherings, and food truck rallies throughout the area.

Their commitment to quality and service was evident, and their team played a big role in making Zia Smoke BBQ special.

What’s Next for Zia Smoke BBQ?

While they are stepping away from the food truck business, the owners aren’t done just yet. They’ll be hosting a restaurant supply and equipment sale in April, giving other aspiring restaurateurs and food truck operators a chance to snag some high-quality gear. Plus, they’ve announced that their restaurant building is available for rent, opening the door for a new food venture in the area.

"While we're closing this chapter, we're excited for what the future holds. We'll be taking some time to recharge, but we're also planning a restaurant supply and equipment sale sometime in April."
