INTO THE WOODS isn't your typical fairy tale. Sure, you'll meet familiar characters like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and his beanstalk, and Rapunzel, but this Tony Award-winning production takes their stories in unexpected and exciting directions. At the heart of it all is a childless couple trying to break a witch's curse. Along the way, these beloved characters discover that working together is far more powerful than any "happily ever after" ending.
Directed by UE's own Assistant Professor Wes Grantom and featuring a talented ensemble of students and guest artists, this production promises to bring a fresh and dynamic take on a classic story. With stunning sets, choreography, and music, you'll be swept away from the moment the lights dim.
Tickets are just $20 for adults, with special discounts for seniors, UE employees, and non-UE students. Plus, UE Theatre continues their incredible "Pay What You Will" initiative for Thursday evening performances, ensuring that everyone has the chance to enjoy the magic.
Make sure to catch one of the performances—October 4th, 5th, 17th, 18th, 19th at 7:30 p.m., and a matinee on October 20th at 2:00 p.m. Grab your tickets online or by calling the box office at 812.488.2031. This is one show you don’t want to miss!
