If there's one thing that we can all agree on, it's the fact that the internet has made it very easy to seek out new restaurants to try. Another thing we can agree on is - If something has been determined as 'America's Best', we need to try it.

What is 'America's Best Restaurants?

Matt Plapp is the CEO and Founder of America's Best Restaurants. Using his branded social media and YouTube channel, Matt and his team feature web episodes of locally-owned restaurants, to attract more local customers. So, unlike a destination food show, America's Best Restaurants focuses on unique spots that locals will love if they hear about them.

You might remember that R'z Cafe and Catering was featured two years ago on 'America's Best Restaurants', but some things have changed since then. The food is still amazing. They are one of our favorites at work lunches. But R'z switched ownership hands in August of 2024. Lauren and Lance Alston added R's to their local restaurant portfolio. They also own the Brass Ring Bar and Grill in Haubstadt, Indiana.
