9:28 AM Update:

Five people are dead and six others are injured after a gunman opened fire this morning in a downtown Louisville office building

There is no longer an active aggressor threat. The suspected shooter has been neutralized.

We have received reports from Louisville Metro Police Department, the FBI in Louisville, Kentucky, ATF Louisville, and Governor Andy Beshear's office that there is an active shooter incident in Downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

Officials are reporting MULTIPLE CASUALTIES.

We are confirming reports of an active aggressor in the 300 block of East Main. Please stay out of the area. There are multiple casualties.
