Carb Day 2025 Brings Rock and Racing to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

In addition to being a day of remembrance and mourning for those who have died in military service, Memorial Day is generally considered to be the official-unofficial kickoff to summer. And here in Indiana, Memorial Day weekend is synonymous with the Indianapolis 500. One of the most anticipated events leading up to the big race is Carb Day, combining the thrill of racing with great live music.

What is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Carb Day Party?

On Friday, May 23, 2025, race fans have a chance to see the drivers’ final practice session before the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 25^th. Carb Day also features the Indy 500 Pit Stop Challenge, where pit crews showcase their lightning-fast skills in a thrilling competition. And the party isn’t complete without loud, live music! This year’s Carb Day concert features Bret Michaels along with All-American Rejects.

Brett Michaels is, of course, known as the frontman for the band Poison (along with a few other things). He’s making his return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) for the first time since 2013.

The All-American Rejects had hits with “Dirty Little Secret” and “Gives You Hell,” and will undoubtedly deliver a nostalgic and energetic set that will have fans singing along.

General admission tickets to the Carb Day party start at $45, which gets you into both the concert and on-track activities. If you just want to see the concert, you can get a wristband for $35 with no access to the IMS. For $80, you can get the Carb Day Concert Pit package, which provides admission to IMS and a Concert Pit Wristband will provide access closer to the stage for the Carb Day Concert.

This will provide access to a private viewing platform near the Turn 3 Stage for the Carb Day Concert. This ticket will also provide admission to IMS.
