Halloween Stroll and Trunk-or-Treat Car Show Returns to Downtown Evansville
The Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District (EID) is bringing back a community favorite—the Fourth Annual Halloween Stroll and Trunk-or-Treat Car Show Presented by Romain Cross Pointe. This festive event is happening this Saturday, October 26, from 11 AM to 2 PM in Downtown Evansville, and it's packed with fun for all ages!
Free Candy, Costume Contests, and Car Show Excitement!
Families are in for a treat (literally) with free candy being handed out at more than 15 Downtown businesses and from the participating cars in the show. Get ready for some spooky fun with costume contests for families, kids, and even dogs. The costume contest takes place at 1 PM on the 300 block of Main Street, so make sure to arrive in your best Halloween attire for a chance to win!
The event will also feature a Trunk-or-Treat Car Show, where participants can show off their decorated vehicles. There will be awards in 10 different categories, so if you have a creative, decked-out ride, don’t miss out! Vehicle registration is free—simply email events@downtownevansville.com to sign up.
Activities for the Whole Family
Besides the candy and car show, there will be plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Kids will love the face painting, pumpkin bowling, corn sensory pools, and taking photos with festive Halloween inflatables. Plus, there will be music to keep the spooky vibes going all afternoon.
Don't Miss Out on This Spooktacular Event!
Main Street will be closed from 2nd Street to MLK Jr. Boulevard, so guests can stroll freely and enjoy all the Halloween fun. Downtown businesses will also be open, giving you even more reasons to explore the area.
