WWII Veteran Turns 100 With Big Birthday Celebration in Owensboro, Kentucky
Yesterday we shared, that a WWII Veteran right here in Owensboro had a special day coming up. Today was that day! Bob Hagan celebrated the birthday of a lifetime, and we have pictures to prove it. You can still honor Bob and send a birthday card. Here's how.
Seeing these photos just made my day! I wish I could live to see 100 and look as good as Bob. He served our country proudly and deserved this special celebration. Friends and family honored him in a big way at the Windy Hollow Biscuit House.
BOB HAGAN TURNS 100 YEARS YOUNG
Bob and his wife visit the Windy Hollow Biscuit House 2-3 times a week, so it was fitting a special celebration was held there on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 at 8:30 AM. The community was encouraged to stop by, say hello, and drop off a card of gratitude. It wasn't only a chance to celebrate his 100th birthday but to honor his commitment and sacrifice to our country. And, boy, did they show up in a big way!
Bob was presented with a delicious cake. He was surrounded by those he loved and the veteran community. Veterans' Empowered Together (V.E.T) even made a special appearance at the celebration. It was a morning of making memories and honoring a life well lived. If you couldn't make it to the party today, you can still send a card for Bob.
