Calling All Bands! Plans Announced for PorchFest OBKY 2025

Last weekend was supposed to mark the debut of the Orchard Music Fest. Andy and Tamarra Brasher, the creators of PorchFest OBKY, worked with Reid's Orchard to conceptualize a new event that blends PorchFest with the orchard. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene had other plans and the torrential rainfall of that storm caused the postponement of that event. The good news? It has been rescheduled for 2025 and will take place next Fall.

However, in event management, there's no rest and the Brashers have been working hard on their other labor of love- the plans for PorchFest OBKY 2025.

Guess what? It's time to save the date! PorchFest OBKY 2025 is set for Saturday, June 14th and will again take place on the porches of various homes on Griffith Avenue in the heart of Owensboro. In 2024, PorchFest featured nearly 40 acts on twelve different stages. Plus, there were food trucks, souvenir booths and more.

While fans of the event are now saving the date, singers, songwriters, duos, trios and bands who want to play at it can sign up for consideration. As of Tuesday, October 1st, submissions are now underway.

If you'd like to apply to perform at PorchFest, you can simply fill out THIS FORM.

It will take you less than a minute. To get the consideration process started, organizers simply need your name, contact info, the name of the band or act, if you're available on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, and if you're able to provide your own equipment.

The deadline for bands to submit is December 31st, 2024.
