While Australian firefighters may be known for baring their biceps beside koalas and kittens on charity calendars, our local heroes are proving they’ve got just as much heart!

Cats and hot firefighters? While Australian firefighters might be famous for their shirtless calendar shoots with cuddly animals, Bowling Green's local heroes (BGFD) are proving they’ve got just as much heart by teaming up with the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society this "Friday the 13th" to turn superstition into second chances. It’s all part of National Adopt a Cat Month, and these firefighters are on a new kind of rescue mission by helping shelter cats find furever homes, and we're here for it!
