Robin is a Parvo Survivor Superpup – He’s Available at Warrick Humane Society
I got a really sad email email today from Warrick Humane Society. A puppy that we have featured before as a pet of the week is still at the shelter and is now considered their longest resident!
When Robin Egg, Coconut Nest, and Cotton Candy arrived at WHS, they had to battle and thankfully survived Parvovirus, a deadly illness. Thankfully, the shelter was able to use a medication to help them and they recovered. Two of the puppies from this litter have been adopted but Robin remains.
Robin is a Lab/Heeler mix who is a playful bundle of joy. He simply wants a loving family to call his own. He adores everyone he meets – whether it's people, kids, or other dogs. He does get a bit extra excited initially, but he's a puppy! Give him some time and he'll settle down, revealing his true, affectionate self.
They are up to date on all vaccines, deworming, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention. They are neutered/spayed, microchipped, and heartworm-negative. To help them find their furever home, the WHS is offering 50% OFF their adoption fees until 7/10.
If you're interested in the puppies or any of the WHS's other adoptable pets, please fill out an adoption application online at https://warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption/
Because of how long he's been here his adoption fee's been reduced by 20%. Please stop by the shelter during open hours to visit him! He does great with other dogs and people of all ages. They are open Wednesday-Thursday 12-7 and Friday-Sunday 12-4.
