It seems to be a thing lately because more and more I'm seeing stories about criminals biting police officers while getting arrested and I just don't get it.

Many Schools In Illinois Have The Class Biter

I remember way back in the day when I was in school, there always seemed to be that class biter early on in my education. Apparently, they wouldn't get enough to eat at lunch. The student would just take a chunk out of a classmate for no reason. I guess they were just too young to know better. Most of them grow out of that bad habit. Notice how I said most of them. Others, still think it's okay.

Illinois Woman Bites Police Officer

The incident happened early in the morning in a parking lot located in Glendale Heights, Illinois. The local police received a call about a couple of people yelling at each other. When they arrived, there was just a lone woman sitting in her vehicle. When they approached the car, they could smell the booze. The officers spotted a case of beer on the seat and a couple of empty cans.

The cops requested the suspect to get out of the vehicle. When the woman did, she started to walk away. The police stopped and arrested her. When one of the officers tried to handcuff her, she bit him on the arm. This lady must've done a pretty good job because he had to go to the hospital.

A Glendale Heights woman was sentenced to four years in prison after she was found guilty of biting a police officer in 2020.

 

Tyler Russell, 27, was convicted of aggravated battery after a three-day jury trial in August 2023.
