Did You Know Illinois is Home to The Largest Bakery in the Entire World?
Not sure how I missed this one but apparently, the world's largest bakery is in Illinois.
Browsing Guinness World Records site (as one does) I ran across this little nugget of info:
The food giant Nabisco's factory in Chicago, USA is the largest bakery in the world. It occupies a staggering 170,000 square metres (approx. 1,800,000 square ft) and employs more than 1,400 people. The bakery produces billions of biscuits annually on more than a dozen ovens, each the length of a US football field. The bakery in Chicago exports products to several countries in addition to supporting the North American market.
Looks like the record was set in 2011 by Nabisco.

THE MOST POPULAR THING TO MAKE WITH NABISCO BAKED PRODUCTS
The best (or at least most popular) Nabisco food to cook with is their Nilla Wafers.
Insanely Good shared a host of things you can make incorporating those delicious cookies. They're great by themselves but even better when you use Nilla Wafers to make:

That's right you can use Nilla Wafers to make your very own version of one of the most popular Girl Scout Cookies, Tagalongs.
The massive Nabisco Bakery is located at 7300 South Kedzie Avenue in Chicago.
