This will be a bit of a turn, considering it's not usually on the list of best restaurants in the state, but Finance Buzz somehow got my attention.

They posted the Tastiest Local Fast Food Spots in Every State and I was surprised for sure.

That's because I have never heard of Choppers, but apparently, it's been around for a while now.

Finance Buzz says it has been in business since 1987, and they have "provided the Chicago area with the best burgers around."

That's not all. Choppers also has the grown-up version of the Happy Meal, dubbed the Chop Pak, which includes a double cheeseburger and fries.

The top Yelp review mentions the service as "fast" and the ambiance as "calm and clean." Those are two features not usually synonymous with fast food because trying to get food out as quickly as possible can be messy and hectic.

If you're looking to switch up your fast food routine, Choppers at 1659 North Ashland in Chicago might be worth a visit.
