If you are a fan of camping, I'd be willing to bet that you have never been on a camping trip quite like this.

I grew up going camping here in Indiana. We had everything from a tent to a pop-up camper and a camper. Camping was always something that I enjoyed doing. Between hiking the trails, fishing, swimming, and food over a campfire, spending time at the campground was always a great experience. It's been quite some time since I have been camping, but it's something that my family and I plan on doing this year. As you know, there are so many great campgrounds all throughout the Hoosier State. Each of them has its own unique things to offer. I've been fortunate to camp at quite a few of these campgrounds throughout my life. That being said, there are also some great places to camp outside of Indiana too. One place in particular is found right outside of Indiana, in Ohio, and it is the only public floating-tent experience in the United States.

What is a Floating Tent Experience?

This is literally a water bed! Not just any water bed, though. These tents are Shoal floating tents. A first of its kind, the Shoal tent is an inflatable, floating raft with a tent topper that allows you to sleep out on the water.

The U.S.’s Only Floating Tent Experience

Located in Troy, Ohio, a little over an hour from the Indiana border, there's a one-of-a-kind camping experience. This exciting and unique outdoor experience that allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of the Great Miami River in a whole new way. Float Troy stands out from other outdoor adventures because it offers exclusive floating tents that cannot be found anywhere else in the United States. These Shoal tents are inflatable, floating rafts with a tent topper, allowing guests to sleep comfortably on the water while surrounded by nature.
