Waverly Hills is notoriously haunted and is a spin-chilling place to visit already. However, you throw in a haunted attraction and that will definitely take the thrills up a notch!

An Infamously Haunted Location

Waverly Hills is known for being haunted, and being a "hot bed" for paranormal activity. Part of the reason for this reputation has to do with Waverly's history. The numbers vary, but it's said that thousands died at Waverly Hills Sanatorium as it was originally a tuberculosis hospital. After the tuberculosis epidemic was over, it was turned into a geriatric medical facility. In 1981 Waverly Hills closed its doors.

Now the Waverly Hills Historical Society works hard to help preserve the historic landmark, and by utilizing its creepy history they're able to raise funds for their nonprofit which helps with the preservation of the building. Throughout the year they host all kinds of events, including an annual haunted attraction that thrill-seekers come from all over to attend.

A Spine-Chilling Adventure

If you're a fan of haunted houses, then this haunted attraction is one you need to add to your list to visit! Not only is it a top-notch production filled with scare actors, horrifying scenes, and plenty of thrills along the way, it's also hosted inside of Waverly Hills Sanatorium.
