According to new data analyzed by Appliance Repair Las Vegas using Energy Star and the United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) numbers, Indiana ranks 22nd among states for the cost of running common household appliances. The report says:

The total cost to run five of the most common home appliances was then calculated for each US state. These appliances included: a clothes washer, clothes dryer, refrigerator with a bottom freezer, dishwasher, and an electric range cooker. The average annual cost to run all of these appliances in the US is $268.40.

The total annual cost of running household appliances on average in the Hoosier State is $239.02. That's $29.38 less than the national average. So, what's the breakdown of what each of these appliances costs Hoosiers each year? Let's take a look!
