Kentucky City Now Among the Top 10 Sexiest Places in America

A new 2024 study has found the top 10 sexiest places in the United States, with one Kentucky city claiming the No. 3 spot.

I'd like to tell you I know exactly what makes a city "sexy," but that's simply not true. I'm just a simple radio jock, not one of the other kinds of jocks that used to rule high school. However, a new study claims they know exactly what makes a city sexy, and they've just unveiled the top 10 sexiest places in America. The study was conducted by Hims, who noted their findings were based on an online survey, which included 5,000 18-to-65-year-old respondents in the top 50 metropolitan areas.

What is the No. 1 Sexiest City in America?

Hims findings were certainly interesting and not at all what I would have expected. Initially, I assumed the sexiest cities would include far Western states like California and Nevada, but I was wrong. In fact, the survey found that cities in the South and Midwest are sexier than those on the coasts. Coming in at No. 1 on the list was Dallas, Texas, followed by Chicago, Illinois, and then Louisville, Kentucky.

Texas came in as the sexiest state, claiming three of the top 10 sexiest cities. The South was by far the sexiest region, representing over half of the cities in the top 10. Additionally, no coastal cities made it into the top 10, which was astounding. Hims reported that Seattle was close, but not close enough. I suppose, as my man Morgan Wallen says, "Long live cowgirls."

10 Sexiest Places in the United States

If you are planning a road trip this summer, there are plenty of "hot spots" to check out. Louisville, Kentucky, claimed the No. 3 spot on the list, but not much was said about the Bluegrass state from Hims. Lousiville is famous for the Kentucky Derby and, of course, whiskey, so perhaps the combination of boozed-out cowboys and cowgirls led to the metric.
