A popular food website claims that they have found the absolute best cheeseburger in the entire state.

Who doesn't love a good burger, right? Personally, my bonus son, Carter, is obsessed with cheeseburgers. Anytime I ask him what he wants for dinner, I typically get one of two answers: "I don't know" or "burgers". So last night, I saw an article about the best burger in each state. I knew that I had to find Indiana's and write this up just for Carter because I know once he sees it, we'll probably have to go on a road trip to see just how good they are and where these burgers land on his "burger ranking scale." I know once he sees it, we'll go on a deep dive over how right or wrong this article is...and I am sure we will do that over a nice juicy burger.

Whether you're in the mood for a classic cheeseburger or a gourmet creation, you'll find a spot to satisfy your craving in Indiana. The Tasting Table recently published an article called "These Are The Absolute Best Burgers In Every US State," and I must admit that every single burger on this list looks absolutely amazing. When it comes to the burger they chose for Indiana, it might seem odd as to why it was named the "absolute best burger" in the state. That's because it's a burger with no fancy toppings. Just a classic burger at its finest.

This is Indiana's 'Absolute Best Burger'

According to The Tasting Table, the "absolute best burger" in Indiana can be found in Indianapolis. The Workingman's Friend in Indianapolis has become quite the popular spot to grab a burger in its 100-plus-year-old history.

Here's what The Tasting Table had to say about the famous burgers at The Workingman's Friend:

It's not every day you get to step into a 100-plus-year-old establishment and order a meal, making the cheeseburger at The Workingman's Friend a true bucket list item. It's clear that the place hasn't changed much since its inception in 1918, even down to the owners — descendants of the Macedonian immigrant family who founded the restaurant. There's no frills here, just a classic smashburger (or, just a regular burger in the Midwest), with two cheese-drenched patties, lettuce, tomato, and a thin slice of bread in the middle, Big Mac-style.

When it comes to the best burger in Indiana, it's all subjective. We all have our personal favorites, and there are a lot of great places throughout the state that offer amazing burgers. So, take this for what it's worth. If anything, it might just give you a new seafood restaurant to try out this year.
