New Harmony, Indiana is a small town with a lot of history. New Harmony is a national historic landmark and was first settled over 200 years ago.
Settled in 1814, New Harmony was first a spiritual sanctuary for the Harmonie Society and then a haven for international scientists and scholars led by Robert Owen in 1825.
With a history dating back more than two centuries, you know there has to be some interesting and even spooky history there too.
Haunted New Harmony
Haunted New Harmony has a passion for sharing chilling tales and ghost stories from the New Harmony area. They often host ghost walks, where you can tour the town and learn some of the darker and creepier history of New Harmony. Located in New Harmony sits the A.C. Thomas House Bed & Breakfast Inn. According to the A.C. Thomas House website the mansion was built in 1899.
This beautifully restored Queen Anne Victorian mansion was built in 1899 for Amon Clarence Thomas. With stunning Classic Revival and Romanesque design elements and Morris design wallpaper procured from Bradbury & Bradbury.

A Spooky Night of Paranormal Thrills in October
According to Haunted New Harmony on October 13th, they will be hosting a unique paranormal experience at the A.C. Thomas House, for the first time there will be a paranormal investigation held there, and you're invited!
Over the years, guests have experienced some other-worldly happenings that we'd love to explore. This will be the first time this house has been investigated. Our night will begin with a Haunted New Harmony Ghost Walk (7-8:30pm). Afterwards, we will spend a few hours with the Haunted New Harmony team and investigate the mansion.
