How To Get a Free Prom Dress for Evansville Area Students

Prom will be here before you know it, and if you have a high schooler in the Evansville area on the hunt for a prom dress, suit, and accessories, this might be a great resource for them.

I have a Junior in high school this year, and she's been shopping around for her first-ever prom dress. In case you didn't know, prom dresses aren't cheap. Some families might struggle to afford a nice prom dress for their kids. With the way that the economy is today, it's hard enough to afford to pay bills. It's even harder to afford things outside of the necessities that we all might want to do. For high school students, Prom is a big deal. You want to look great and have the best attire possible. However, the reality is that a lot of families won't be able to purchase prom dresses and accessories. This is why Hangers, the EVSC Student Clothing Resource, has decided to help.

The Prom Shop at Hangers

Once again this year, Hangers, the EVSC Student Clothing Resource, will be hosting the Free Prom Shop. This event is not just for EVSC students; any local student who needs prom attire can attend.

Hangers will have several options for students to choose from, including prom dresses, shoes, accessories, and even suits. There are no financial qualifications required for this event.
