Out of all the things you might have in your wallet, there's one item that the feds are now warning folks to take out immediately.

If you're like me, your wallet is way too full. Not of money, as we all would like, but full of different cards. You've got your various insurance cards, credit and debit cards, gift cards, photos, driver's licenses, and more things that you probably forgot were even in there. How often do you go through your wallet to clean it out or to even see what all is in there? Probably not too often. However, the feds are now warning that you should take a look at your wallet to take one item out ASAP.

Take This Out of Your Wallet ASAP

Out of all the things you carry in your wallet, there's one thing that you might have in there that you shouldn't be carrying on you. The Social Security Administration is warning people to take out their Social Security Card ASAP. Why? It all comes down to identity theft.

It's not uncommon to lose your wallet or have someone steal it. There is also a great risk of you losing your card, and having it fall out when you go to grab another credit/debit card or cash. So, to ensure that your identity remains safe, just take this card out right away and put it somewhere in your house where it's safe and sound. Your Social Security card, in the hands of the wrong person, could cause a lot of problems for you that you really don't want to deal with. Keeping the card out of your wallet lessens the risk of that information getting into the wrong hands. Here's what the Social Security Administration says:

We encourage you not to carry your Social Security card with you every day. The best way to “Guard Your Card” is to keep it in a safe place and share it only when required, which is rare. In fact, in most cases, just knowing the Social Security number should be enough.

If someone would find your Social Security card it would be so easy to steal your identification. Just watch the movie "Identity Theft," and you'll see how much of a headache that can be. As we head into this busy shopping season, you don't want that to happen. Getting your ID back takes weeks, if not months to make it all go away. It's not a quick and easy process. So, save yourself some trouble, memorize your number (if you haven't already), and store your card in a safe place in your home.

16 Indiana Towns with Dirty-Sounding Names

A majority of these towns were given their names in the mid-to-late 1800s as settlers making their way across the country found unclaimed plots of land and decided to make them their own. While I imagine they thought the names they came up with were innocent, and perhaps a tribute to something in their lives, pop culture has warped our minds to the point since then that we can't help but think of something about the town that was never intended by its founders. Take a look at this list. I guarantee there's at least one name that will make you chuckle.

7 Weapons You Can Legally Own in Indiana That Aren't Guns

Anything can be a weapon if used as such. Large rocks, baseball bats, golf clubs, hammers, etc., etc. However, those objects aren't designed to be used as weapons. These seven, on the other hand, are, and you are completely within your rights to have them in Hoosier State.
