cMoe in Evansville will be hosting several summer camps for kids, all with different themes, and they sound awesome!

The Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville, or cMoe as it is more commonly known, is a popular place to enjoy some indoor time with the kids exploring, learning, and playing in downtown Evansville. The museum features three floors of exhibits and activities that provide sensory experiences and engaging educational content focusing on literacy, science, math, visual and performing arts, culture, and health. My personal favorite exhibit at cMoe is the Quack Factory. The interactive museum if full of some awesome exhibits that are fun for everyone in the family. They also host several unique events throughout the year, including different summer camps for kids that sound so fun!

There will be eight different week long camps, each with its own fun theme. My personal favorites are Moe-ments in Space, Millies Players, and Mo-lympics. Your kids will have a hard time not having a blast at any one of these camps in 2024. You can take a look at this year's themes for cMoe's summer camp lineup in the post below.

See How Downtown Evansville Has Changed Over the Years

I find looking back on the way things used to be fascinating. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I'm living through the current time period. The conveniences of answering any question we have in seconds, or ordering practically anything we want or need and having it delivered to our doorstep is pretty sweet. But, there is something fun about seeing how things around us have evolved. As an Evansville native, and spending quite a bit of my time in downtown Evansville (that's where the station is located), I've always appreciated the older architecture of the buildings around the area. So, I dug into the Willard Library Archives to see how a few of those areas look now compared to then. Some have changed a little, others quite a bit, and a few don't even exist any more. Take a look.
