It’s no secret that beer is the most popular alcoholic beverage in the United States, especially the lighter options. Light beer is a popular choice among many people these days who want to enjoy an adult beverage while saving some calories. In fact, according to Statista, light beer accounted for the largest share of overall beer consumption in 2020, making up 39.8% of total beer consumption in the United States.

Over the years, I've tried my fair share of light beers and have definitely enjoyed some more than others. According to Statista, Bud Light is considered the nation’s leading beer brand, followed by Coors Light and Miller Lite. While I've had each one in the past, these days I generally opt for a cold Busch Light. Busch has essentially become a staple in my circle of friends, despite its classification online.
