International Walk to School Day Happening October 2nd

Tuesday is International Walk to School Day! This global event will take place across more than 40 countries around the globe and thousands of schools across the United States as well. There are a number of local community schools that will be taking part in the initiative to create safe routes to school year-round. In celebration of International Walk to School Day, I will be participating with students from Highland Elementary School and I couldn't be more excited! If you are making your morning commute, please be mindful of traffic laws and watch for pedestrians.
