Indiana is Home to One of the Best Glamping Campgrounds in North America

If you are on the fence about camping, glamping is the way to go. It turns out that one of the best places to go glamping is found right here in Indiana.

Over the past several years, glamping has become a very popular thing that couples and families do. Now, there's a chance that you might be wondering what exactly "glamping" is. Glamping is a style of camping with amenities and, in some cases, resort-style services not usually associated with "traditional" camping. So, think of it like a huge fancy tent with heat and AC, on top of several other unique features.

There are glamping sites all over the country. They all range in different styles and amenities. I have gone glamping a few times in the past and loved every place that I went to. Recently, CampSpot.com posted its winners for the annual Campspot Awards 2023. There are several different categories in these awards like best campgrounds in the United States and more generalized categories like best campgrounds for pet lovers, best campgrounds for families, and more. One of these categories was for the best glamping campgrounds, and one of the winners can be found here in southern Indiana.

Southern Indiana Campground Named One of the Best for Glamping

CampSpot.com found the five best glamping campgrounds in North America based on reservation data, quality of listing, reviews, and expert insight. Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph, in Santa Claus, Indiana, was honored as one of the winners. This is huge and well-deserved. The Christmas Cabins are amazing and are located in Holiday World & Splashin' Safari's backyard.
