The father of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer pleaded with the public to help find his daughter during a news conference in Bloomington Tuesday morning.

Robert Spierer described Lauren as a child who is "full of life…always on the go…fun to be with."

Standing next to his wife, Charlene, he thanked the scores of volunteers and police who have conducted searches since last weekend. And he asked for help from anyone who might have seen his 20-year old daughter since last Thursday.

"It doesn't matter how casual the sighting was. We need to know when you saw her, where you saw her. Every little piece of information that we get is important, and the police will evaluate how we can use that to find Lauren," he said.

Police say Lauren was last seen by a friend around 4:30 Friday morning as she left his apartment on foot, heading to her nearby apartment after a night of socializing with friends at Kilroy's Sports Bar.

"That young man watched her walk to the corner of 11th and College," said Lt. Bill Parker, with the Bloomington Police Department. "And that was the last person to see her that we know of. She has never been seen since."

Parker says her car keys were found near her apartment, and she left her cell phone and her shoes at the bar.

During a news conference at the police station, Parker described Lauren as petite; about 4-ft. 11 inches tall, weighing about 95 pounds. She has long blonde hair. But Parker cautioned placing too much emphasis on her hair. "It's possible that if Lauren has been abducted, her appearance could have been changed," he told reporters. "We do suspect there could have been foul play."

"When somebody, at 4:30 in the morning, no shoes and has earlier been drinking, goes out and just disappears off a street corner, we feel like certainly foul play could be involved," Parker said.

Parker said police have interviewed all of the friends who were with Lauren the night before she disappeared, but have no real suspect in the case. "We don't have anybody that we characterize as a suspect. But people that were with her are, of course, persons of interest," he told reporters.  If you have ANY information please contact the Bloomington Police Department: 812-339-4477.  More info is available here.
